Crisis AND opportunity in the growing U.S. / China struggle

Earlier this week, in my first two articles of this six-part Trend Trader Daily special series...

I began laying the groundwork for an urgent Breaking Opportunity Alert.

I'll be releasing that Alert next Thursday, May 18th, at 1 p.m. EST.

In that sweeping video exposé, I'll be getting down and dirty about the realities of the rapidly escalating, multi-front conflict between the United States and the People's Republic of China (PRC)...

Because there's a HUGE amount at stake here – both for our national security interests, and for your personal financial interest.

But fair warning: You'll discover things during that epic May 18th event that I guarantee you haven't heard about anywhere else in the media, and never will.

These things will change the way you think about America's future – and help you understand the challenges and the opportunities that are emerging from our increasingly adversarial relationship with China.

Most of all, you'll learn about the one investment I believe you should make right now to get positioned for substantial long-term profits as this conflict unfolds.

The best part: You can invest in this potential 1,000% (and perhaps even more) winner without a single iota of guilt about profiteering from any coming strife, crisis, or combat.

But I'm getting ahead of myself here...

For now, it's time to start drilling down on the impending multi-front battle between the U.S. and China – over nothing less than the soul of the 21st century.

You've seen the headlines and rhetoric, but I'll show you the REAL story

Being an investigative reporter for the better part of 40 years, I live and breathe the news, as you can probably imagine...

And lately, you've no doubt noticed the same thing that I have: that more and more, even the historically progressive mainstream media is taking square aim at China.

I'm talking about stories like this one, from CNN:

And this scary headline, from Fox News:

And this, from NBC News:

And this alarming recent item, from Reuters:

I could cite dozens of other stories, too – many of them from just the last few weeks.

The point is, U.S. public sentiment is overwhelmingly negative toward China right now.

According Gallup polling from last year, approximately 80% of Americans held an unfriendly view of the People's Republic of China...

And that was before the spy-balloon incursion, before validation of the COVID lab-leak theory, and before the long picnic lunches between Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin.

Based on this year's polling, the ratio of Americans with a hostile outlook on China is now up to 84%.

And because of this trend, a power-dynamic similar to what's happening in the media is playing out in Washington, too.

Try as they might to steer "We, the People" the way they want us to go...

Our elected officials are still beholden to the will of the citizenry, especially when majorities get focused and passionate enough – like they are now with regard to the PRC.

That's no doubt why we've heard so much increasingly strong rhetoric about the China threat from so many current and recent U.S. politicians and Washington insiders.

I don't just mean influential GOP'ers like Mike Pompeo, John Ratcliffe, Christopher Wray, and Kevin McCarthy...

I also mean high-profile Democrats that are jumping on the bandwagon, too.

Just days ago, for instance, New York Senator Chuck Schumer said, "The Chinese government is not constraining itself in its pursuit to dominate the 21st century."

Maverick democrat West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin recently said...

"I will do everything in my power to prevent this Administration from welcoming China... with open arms."

And U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo threw down an especially tell-tale quote a few weeks ago, when she said...

"There 's going to be two separate tech ecosystems: one led by America with our allies... and another."

Why do I call it "telltale," you're wondering?

Because it refers specifically to a divergence in technology between America and China.

And that's the central point of the urgent video event that will follow this series of articles next Thursday...

How one particular kind of new technology will re-balance the scales of power between the U.S. and China, and assure our leadership of the globe for the rest of this century.

Needless to say, this same tech breakthrough – which is being aggressively driven forward by the U.S. military, as I touched on three days ago...

Could also be the engine of some incredible long-term investment returns for those who take a position in one small American company right now.

And yes, I'm going to release all the juiciest details about this company on May 18th, in my urgent Breaking Opportunity Alert.

But as usual, I'm getting ahead of myself. Again...

Before you can truly understand the scope and importance of this breakthrough (or its true profit potential), you'll need to fully grasp the predicament that America is in today.

Starting now, and for the next two articles in this series, I'll lay out the real story for you – the good, the bad, the ugly...

And I'll explain how, after some pain and drama, America will ultimately come out on top.

Eagle vs. Dragon: An epic, multi-front struggle for this century's soul

You may have heard about China's "Belt and Road Initiative" (BRI) at some point...

Most likely a fleeting mention of it on a political talk show.

But very few Americans truly understand what this juggernaut program really is – or more importantly, what it's actually for.

The way I see it, the Belt and Road Initiative is an innocent-sounding name for an insidious campaign meant to dominate the world economically...

And knock the U.S. off the top of the global pecking order, in every way.

The initiative seeks to do this by monopolizing the global commerce of – and the entire flow of – critical raw materials. And by extension, it aims to replace the U.S. dollar as the global reserve currency.

Since 2013, China has spent around a trillion dollars to corral 147 of the world's 195 countries into the BRI, on one level or another...

In other words, over 75% of all the nations in the world are now part of the BRI.

This list includes heavyweight power-players like Russia, Iran, Turkey, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Pakistan, and many others.

And China is nowhere near finished with this campaign...

Reportedly, the PRC is prepared to spend as much as $7 trillion more on the Belt and Road Initiative before all is said and done.

What's all this money for, you're wondering?

Basically, it's being used to bribe resource-rich or strategically important nations with infrastructure investment – things like roads, bridges, ports, railways, pipelines, etc...

All of which will ultimately advantage China in its master plan for world domination.

And if you think that objective sounds like a bunch of melodramatic spy-movie hokum, think again...

Because in next Monday's installment of this series, I'm going to prove this endgame to you beyond any possible doubt – in fact, President Xi has actually admitted it, on the record.

Don't count the U.S. out just yet, though.

Because once again, in my in-depth Breaking Opportunity Alert at the end of this series...

I'm going to show you how one particular kind of technology will facilitate America's resurgence in the multi-front struggle against China that's already begun.

It'll also ensure our continued benevolent leadership of the world for the rest of this century.

Oh, and let's not forget that there's potentially big money to be made as all this plays out...

And we'll get into the specifics of that, too, in my special video event on May 18th, at 1 p.m. EST.

It's called Eagle vs. Dragon: The Battle for the 21st Century...

I can promise you – you'll definitely want to set some time aside to watch this exposé and process everything you discover in it.

Because as I mentioned earlier, it will change the way you look at America, China, and the future...

And it will help you understand the challenges and the opportunities created by the critical technologies that'll define all these things, for the rest of this century.

Cheers and Good Investing,
